Cowboy Mining Company Video

Cowboy Mining Company (a division of PDSCo, Inc.) is a privately held bentonite mining, processing and packaging operation located in Southwest Texas near Big Bend National Park. They have been surface-mining premium quality sodium bentonite since 1996 and serving customers around the world.

After mining, They further process the material into five different particle sizes ranging from chips and granular to powder for a wide variety of groundwater, environmental, industrial and consumer applications. Sodium bentonite expands when wet, absorbing as much as several times its dry mass in water. The property of swelling makes the product useful as a sealant since it provides a self-sealing impermeable barrier.

Cowboy Mining Company is a division of pdscoinc.com.
